As a result of participating in the Organization Design workshop, participants are able to:

- List and explain the six pure structure options, along with their advantages and disadvantages.
- Identify and define key decision factors in organization design.
- Define lateral process and describe its significance in organization design.
- Assess the "fit " of your current structure in relation to the company's strategy.
- Develop an enhanced structure, applying the newly learned concepts and principles.
- Explain the purpose and intent of organization design to your executive team.
- Plan & map out a real organization design effort.
- Learn the trade-offs and consequences associated with the essential steps and activities to organization design.
Delivery Options
* This workshop is no less than 3 days in length for groups desiring to learn the skills and methods. Executive primers can be done in 2-4 hr meetings. This is a great workshop for project teams to attend.

- This workshop is most effective in 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day sessions.
- This workshop requires participants to bring a real design/redesign project.
- This workshop allows for the substantive inclusion of "change and consulting " work to be taught as well. For example, IT project teams not ONLY have to take into account the installation of a new/enhanced IT tool but its "quick adoption " by end users as well as the upstream and downstream impacts on people and the tasks they perform. After all, this is where the real change work comes into play!
- Participants will leave the workshop with real design solutions and a plan forward.
