Position:
Marketing Contract Role

Overview:
ON THE MARK, an international boutique business transformation consultancy in business for almost 25 years, is looking for an experienced, results-oriented contract marketing professional for a long-term assignment to implement our on-line, social media, publication and PR plans and tactics as well as co-develop and implement new plans.

Assignment begins as soon as we find the ideal professional. The ideal professional brings to OTM international experience, practicality, deep expertise in on-line and social media use [Linked-in, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Google placement, PR, etc], excellent writing and communication skills, great media contacts along with the enthusiasm, consistency of commitment and effort, willingness to get stuck in and daring to be different.

Being bi/multi-lingual is huge benefit. Having international experience a huge plus. Position is not location/country specific but ideally located in the US, UK or Western EU. Role effort is estimated at 50-70% FTE. Final effort will be collaboratively decided upon after a brief period of review with chosen professional.

This is not a sales position. Successful sales, from qualified lead to contract winning, are the responsibility of the Consulting staff. This position is an integral part of the management team, responsible for developing and implementing a robust marketing effort and co-responsible for successful stewarding of the OTM business. This is an individual contributor role and requires the ideal candidate be a “doer.” Domestic and international travel required occasionally. Must be willing and able to meet with editors, publishers and writers in business and management and show a successful history of doing so.
